In order to replace a J-Bolt Anchor Replacement, you must first determine what the anchor can hold. You will need a strong, preferably pressure-treated two-by-four or six-inch wood. If you can’t find a suitable one, you can purchase a two-by-four or six-inch wood and pressure-treat it to prevent corrosion. Once you have done this, it is time to replace the anchor.

If you do not have access to a power drill, you can try using a Bolt Extractor to remove the existing anchor. This will allow you to drill a new anchor to the required depth and maintain the outside diameter of the existing anchor. The process should take no longer than fifteen minutes, and you will have a perfectly installed anchor. Just be sure to follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions when installing a replacement anchor.
