To install a New Easy Replacement Anchor, remove the existing j-bolt by cutting close to the top of the bottom plate and pushing it up and through the void interior wall. Use a 5/8 inch drill to drill outhold. Fold the anchor knife and insert it into the hole so the knife can unfold horizontally above the bottom plat. Pull down and tighten the New anchor bolt. Use a plastic tie strap, secure anchor to rebar, and or GFRP Bar (Carbon Fiber Bar). Special inspection by the Engineer and or City Inspector is required for the permit.
