A few years ago this foundation was patched by the original builder and it was still under warranty
They came out here they didn’t epoxy the rebar they didn’t stop the oxidation of the rebar and expansion of it and they just put a patch on
Well we came a couple years later and the damage is a lot worse than what it was originally
So what we’ve done we pulled that patch off which is already breaking chipping cracking and flaking on here and expose the rebar and did remove a section of this rebar and installed another piece of rebar to take its place because it was just deteriorated too far
But if you don’t use the proper epoxy to stop the oxidation process of this deal nothing that you put on here is going to stay
it’s always going to pop off
It will never work so you have to have the right recipe to do this
What we’ve done here is we put our exterior patch on this is a 6,000 PSI patch material and we’re allowing this to set up and dry before we bring it out another coat
But when we get done with this it’s going to be a smooth paintable surface that we’re going to waterproof with two coats of
waterproofing and then one coat of exterior house
