Stained Concrete – Phoenix Az, Mesa, Scottsdale

Concrete Stain

Stained Concrete Phoenix Arizona, Mesa Az, Scottsdale Arizona.

Stained concrete driveways, carports, swimming pool decks are catching on in very big ways.
New UV protection form color fading is now so advanced that you can stain anywhere out side and the Concrete Repairman has it in stock. This water base Translucent Light Brown Stain has excellent qualities that give out more than 100 shades of brown. Adding a second coat really adds a luxurious rich flavor and because of the translucence ( see through ), the closer you look the deeper your site goes, like looking at the Grand Canyon, you can see distance or 3-D these photos can only go so far.

I was hired to remove and replace the top coat of this carport because the top coat was chipping and flaking off.
This is a post tension home and the carport and entryways were poured on a very hot day.
The concrete cracked, spit and relieved it’s self from the stress of rapid hydration (rapid evaporation of moisture in the concrete slab) causing the damage. Because of all the expenses of replacing the post tension cables and concrete, the cheaper way out was to top coat the concrete and hide the cracks and damages.

This stained concrete will not chip, flake or come off.

Preperation for the staining is the key to a beautiful stain floor, it’s all about the grinding and prep work.
We use diamond grinders with dust free shrouds and commercial vacuums for a dust free environment.
The concrete is like a sponge, you open the pours to except the stain, it’s that simple.

Let us show you how beautiful your stained floors, driveways, sidewalks, patios and car ports can be for less then you think.

This is what concrete coatings do, chip and flake off.

James and his team at Concrete Repairman came recommended by two other concrete contractors. As a Project manager, I am constantly looking for the best solutions for a variety of construction problems. James is knowledgeable, professional and more than fairly priced. I will recommend him again.

What an amazing breadth of knowledge James had about the foundation of my home built in 1951. I have five large, old trees with large roots, many of which are visible from the ground. I had a few tree experts arrive to tell me it's the source of the movement in my foundation with little support for their findings.

James, arrived and immediately pointed to support in how the foundation and walls were leaning, apparent from the exterior and correctly guessed what he'd find on the interior walls and ceilings before he even went inside. He was spot on. It turned out that the moisture retained from a concrete slab that rides the sides of the foundation is the culprit.

The fix to prevent further damage is a better value than what the arborist's gave me and with concrete evidence to support the investment in the property to prevent further movement in the foundation. Thanks CR!
